No Grumbles

Verse of the Day:

Philippians 2:14  "Do everything without grumbling or arguing."

Application:

Do everything without complaining or arguing.  This is a hard topic for everyone.  It is so easy to say "but mom!" or "I don't want to!" but, the Bible commands us to not grumble or argue.  If we grumble about every situation that we don't like, we are going to have a mighty hard time being grateful about anything.  If we look at a situation with a grateful heart and see it as a new opportunity, we won't have a reason to grumble.

Challenge:

• When someone asks you to do something that you don't like to do, surprise them by saying "Ok!".
• Ask God to help you not grumble or argue, but to have a grateful heart.
