Listening & Doing

Application:

Everybody wants to get the last word in, everyone wants to be heard.  It is important to listen to what other people are saying.  It is important to not listen just so that we can think of a reply, but to actually hear what the person is saying.  The Bible says to be quick to listen and slow to speak.  This is not a suggestion, it is a command.  In my personal life I find it hard to obey this command because, I want to be heard too.  Sometimes it is important to speak up and be heard, but it is important to listen too.
